About Kara
Kara Powell is a mom, leader, and researcher who helps churches and adults better understand and support young people’s faith and development through practical, research-based resources and tools. She teaches and leads at the Fuller Youth Institute, drawing on decades of experience in youth ministry, academic study, and collaboration with world-class scholars to address the toughest questions about identity, belonging, and purpose for teenagers and young adults. Kara believes deeply in the potential of faith-filled young people to change the world and is passionate about equipping leaders and parents to link arms with them in that mission
