About JR
JR Woodward (PhD, University of Manchester) is the National Director of the V3 Church Planting Movement and co-founder of Missio Alliance and the Praxis Gathering. He has planted churches across the East and West Coasts for over 30 years, emphasizing community, discipleship, local presence, and boundary-crossing mission. JR is an adjunct professor at several seminaries, serves on multiple boards, and is the author of Creating a Missional Culture, The Church as Movement (co-author), and The Scandal of Leadership. He is passionate about the renewal of all things and enjoys surfing, film, and photography.
